Principal's Message

Mrs. BolinWelcome to the Athens Middle School webpage.  We are excited about the many opportunities in the coming school year.  We have a great community; the dedicated staff, the involved parents, and the energetic students provide for an optimal learning environment.  With your support, we will continue to develop the gifts and talents of all our students.  The caring staff at AMS works continuously to improve their craft and the opportunities available to our kids.  We consider working with 7th and 8th graders to be a privilege, and we enjoy seeing them learn and succeed.  If you have specific questions or concerns that you can’t find answers to on our site, feel free to give us a call.

Kara Bolin, Principal

AMS Helps Those Affected by Hurricane Harvey Mr. Kostival and Mr. Ricketts help students load the truck
Mrs. Hall's husband traveled to Houston on September 8, 2017 to deliver much needed water, food items and diapers. He and his friends used a dump truck in making deliveries. The dump truck will then be used to help with clean-up. AMS students and families brought in the much needed supplies. Students from Mr. Kostival's class helped load all of the donations and fill the truck. As of September 8, all of your donations are on the way to Texas! Thank you AMS students and families ...
