AHS Named To College Board's 6th Annual AP District Honor Roll

Athens High School has been named to the College Board’s 6th Annual AP® District Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes 425 school districts in the U.S. and Canada that have increased access to AP course work while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams.

 

We’re proud to have been named to the College Board’s 6th Annual AP® District Honor Roll for our efforts to expand access to AP course work and improve student performance on AP exams.

 

Athens High School is committed to expanding access to AP course work, improving student performance, and supporting student success. We’ve been recognized for our work as part of the College Board’s 6th Annual AP® District Honor Roll.

 

Being named to the honor roll isn’t just for our students! Athens High School earned a spot on the College Board’s 6th Annual AP® District Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes school districts in the United States and Canada that have expanded access to Advanced Placement course work and maintained or improved the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP exams.

 

Athens High School has an exceptional faculty who strive to offer rigorous coursework for our students.  Advanced Placement course are just one such example, and are a great opportunity for students to earn college credit for taking coursework at Athens High School.  This year's scores clearly demonstrate the value our students and faculty place on scholarship.  Congratulations to our scholars and academic faculty for this worthy accomplishment!
