Construction Progress

Demolition has begun on the East Elementary School Building.  In an effort to keep the community informed about our progress on the project, a camera has been installed that will take still photos every few minutes.  A link has been added to our website allowing access to see the current site view.  Updated "time-lapse" videos will be periodically created and available by clicking the "time-lapse" play button on the viewer screen.  The camera will remain in place throughout the course of the project.  A camera will be installed at the Morrison-Gordon site in the Spring of 2020 when that project gets underway.

Flu Update for ACSD Families clip art of someone with influenza
Unfortunately, it's that time of year again when we are seeing a rise in influenza (flu) as well as other illnesses. Winter Weather Reminder Weather Update Logo
While we have had a mild winter so far this year, the time will soon come when I will need to consider whether or not to cancel or delay school due to inclement weather. School days may be canceled or delayed for a variety of weather related events. When winter weather is expected, several members of our team drive our most challenging roads to monitor and make determinations about the ability of our buses to safely transport students to/from school. Sometimes this is a very difficult call. ...
