I received my M. Ed in Special Education with K-12 Reading Endorsements from Ohio University in 2008.  I have worked in Athens City as an Elementary Intervention Specialist for 5 years, and taught at our Middle School 4 years (2018-2022).  My areas of interest are in Applied Behavior Analysis, and Reading Intervention. I received a certification in ABA in 2018 and am finishing my Dyslexia Teachers certification this year. Structured Literacy and the Instruction to help all struggling readers is a passion of mine since I grew up as a struggling reader. I love to help students find a love for literacy as I did.
