Hello!  Welcome to our Gifted Resource Room's home page.  My name is Dr. Lyndi Maxwell, and I will be your teacher this year. I am happy to be here and I look forward to working with you and your families to make this a fantastic year for all of us.  This will be my 19th year in education, and my 7th year working with gifted students.  And I love it.  I'm originally from New Lexington, Ohio and a graduate of Ohio University. 

My family includes my partner Dave, our son Tommy (two years old), and our two rescue cats Quentin and Zuri.  We actually found Quentin in a trash can when he was just a few weeks old, and we adopted Zuri from the Humane Society. We love animals and as you have no doubt picked up on the pattern....we especially love adopting them (maybe too much at times). Tommy especially loves "Meowing" at Zuri and chasing her!  For fun, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, reading, baking, and watching a variety of sports.  

I am eager to begin the new school year together in our new location at The Plains Intermediate School!  We've got some fun projects in store, so I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are eager to get started as well.
