I have monitored serveral forecast models for Saturday. Two of the four are predicting thunderstorms that may occur during the commencement ceremony. All four are predicting showers off and on during the morning. I have made the decision to move the ceremony indoors. The ceremony will now be held in McAfee Gymnasium Saturday morning at 11:00 am.
Graduates will be provided six tickets during graduation practice to give to family members who are attending the ceremony. If every graduate attends the ceremony with six family members, this would be similar to our experience prior to the onset of Covid.
I apologize for any inconvience regarding this decision but we would rather provide a good experience for families and graduates indoors than a bad experience outdoors.
