Additionally, Tony Schorr from Schorr Architects and Mike Dingeldein from Community Design Alliance will be at the Regular Board Meeting on Thursday, February 21st to provide an update to the Board of Education on the work of our Planning Committees and will also provide an opportunity for those present at the meeting to share their thoughts and input.

The PK-3 and Grades 4-6 Planning Committees have had two meetings to date and several members of the Committees will be visiting two new schools in Lancaster, Ohio next week.  The discussions at this time are focused on the programming necessary at each building and the types of spaces needed to provide that programming.

Thank you to the many members of our community who have been providing feedback and input.  We have many months worth of meetings and planning ahead and want to make sure we hear from as many of our community members as possible.  If you cannot attend one of these meetings, please feel free to send to me an email with your ideas and I will forward them to our Planning Committee Members.  My email is tgibbs@athenscsd.org.

Thank you,
