Join the 2023 Athens High School Marching Green and Gold! There will be a meeting on Tuesday, May 2 at 6:00pm in the Athens High School auditorium for both new and returning students and parents interested in participating in this coming fall's AHS Marching Band. We will go over the band calendar, fees, and reveal the 2024 AHS Spring Band trip destination!

The Athens City School Band Program will hold instrument fittings for all interested current 4th grade students (rising 5th grade students) on May 5th, during the school day. Permission slips are due by May 1st.

The Parent/Guardian Informational Meeting for rising 5th graders interested in band will be held on May 9th, at 7 pm in The Plains Intermediate School cafeteria. Parents/guardians will be able to register their students for band, set up an instrument rental for the upcoming year, and ask any questions regarding band. This meeting is required for students interested in joining the band in 5th grade.
