I received my M.Ed in Special Education with a K-12 Reading Endorsement from Ohio University in 2008.  I began working for Athens City Schools during the 2013-2014 school year and have worked with students from grades 1-6.  Prior to coming to Athens City, I worked for Wellston City Schools where I was an intervention specialist serving students in grades K-2.  Currently, I am working on a practicum with the Institute for Multisensory Education to become a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor.  I also serve on the Board of the Center for Intervention Research in Schools (CIRS) at Ohio University and am working as a project consultant for the Beacon Project for CIRS.
