Appointments are Required for Registration

  • We will begin scheduling appointments starting at 8:00 am on February 23rd.
  • Please call Jackie West at ACSD at 740.797-4516 x1205 or Deb Richter the Early Childhood Office at 740-797-0064 x163 to schedule an appointment.

East Elementary Preschool Registration Day

Date: Friday, March 20, 2026 from 9:15 am - 3:00 pm
Location: 3 Wallace Dr., Athens, OH 45701

Morrison-Gordon Elementary Preschool Registration Day

Date: Friday, March 27, 2026 from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Location: 793 W. Union St., Athens, OH 45701

Please Note:

  • Your child MUST BE 4 YEARS OLD ON OR BEFORE August 24, 2026 to be eligible for registration.
  • Please bring your child with you - they must be present.
  • MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE ATHENS CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT.
  • No child will be considered registered or put on a waiting list without the documentation listed below.

PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WITH YOU:

  • Your Child’s Birth Certificate (Copy of parent and child’s passport if you have no birth certificate)
  • Your Child’s Immunization Record
  • Proof of Residency
    • i.e. a Utility Bill showing "service at" a physical address, a Property Tax Bill, a Mortgage Bill, a Lease Agreement, etc.—proof must show a physical address, not a P.O. Box)
  • Proof of Income (one of the following):
    • 1040 Tax Form or 2 consecutive pay stubs
