Athens FFA Urban and Rural Teams Place in District Soil Judging Contest

FFA Members traveled to Oak Hill on September 25th to participate in the District Soil Judging Contest.  The Soil Judging CDE scores students on their ability to evaluate soils for both urban and rural development purposes. They judged the soil texture and structure as well as identified the possible uses for the soil in that area.
