Public Notice: Sealed Bid Vehicle Sale

The Athens City School District Board of Education is accepting sealed bids for the sale of surplus vehicles.

Vehicles for Sale:

1990 Chevrolet Box Truck, VIN#1GBJC34K7LE205156 - needs alternator

Bus 11 - 4DRBUAAN78B666927 – engine failing

Bus 39 - 4DRBUAAN15B978527 – transmission failing  

Vehicles may be inspected by appointment at the Athens City School District Transportation Office during normal business hours, M-F 8AM until 3PM.

Bid Submission:
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the front of the envelope with Vehicle Bid.  Please include the vehicle description in the bid and delivered to:

Bid Deadline:
Bids must be received no later than Monday November, 17, at 3PM. Late bids will not be accepted.

Bids will be opened at the Athens City School District on November 19th at 9AM.

The Athens City School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept the bid(s) deemed most advantageous to the District.
