2026 Athens City School District Board of Education Meeting Dates
All meetings will be held at the district Central Office (21 Birge Dr., Chauncey, OH 45719) at 6:30 pm unless otherwise noted below.

  • January 8, 2026 – 2026 Organizational Meeting, Tax Budget Hearing & Records Commission Meeting (Begins at 6:00 pm)
    • Notice is hereby given that on the 8th day of January 2026 at the Athens City Board of Education Office, 21 Birge Dr., Chauncey, Ohio, 45719, the Athens City School District Board of Education will hold the
      • 6:00 pm: Annual records commission meeting
      • 6:15 pm: Tax Budget Hearing
      • 6:30 pm: Annual Organizational meeting with the regular January Board Meeting to be held immediately after. 
      • The Tax Budget is available for review at the Athens City School District Office.
