REGISTRATION LINKS

PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION

  • Preschool registration was completed on March 20th (East Elementary) and March 27th (Morrison-Gordon Elementary).
  • Please call Deb Richter the Early Childhood Office at 740-797-0064 x163 for information if you missed the registration events or just moved into town.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

  • Kindergarten registration was completed on April 2nd (East Elementary) and April 16th (Morrison-Gordon Elementary).
  • Please call Athens City Schools at 740-797-4544 for information if you missed the registration events or just moved into town.

Your child MUST BE 5 YEARS OLD ON OR BEFORE the district’s first day for students, August 24, 2026, to be eligible for registration for Kindergarten.

Online Registration on Infinite Campus

No child will be considered registered without the documentation listed below.

  • Your child’s birth certificate
  • Visa and I-20 (for international students)
  • Legal residential parent/guardian's driver's License or state issued ID card
  • Your child’s immunization record
  • Proof of residency (i.e. a utility bill showing "service at" a physical address, a property tax bill, a mortgage bill, a lease agreement, etc.—proof must show a physical address, not a P.O. Box)
  • Custody papers (if applicable)

Early Entrance

  • If you would like information regarding early entrance, please visit the ACSD Gifted Services webpage.
  • The deadline for Early Entrance was March 30, 2026.  Please contact the office of Special Services at 740-797-4516 or jwest@athenscsd.org if you have questions after this date.

OPEN ENROLLMENT

The open enrollment application period for the 2026-2027 Athens City School District school year closed on April 15, 2026.  Contact Athens City Schools at 740-797-4544 with questions after this date.
