The Athens City School District has excess furniture and equipment that will be available for public sale in a "yard sale" type format at the old Chauncey Elementary School Gymnasium on Saturday, December 4th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Generally, prices will be as follows:
- Student chairs: $2.00
- Student desks: $2.00
- Classroom tables: $5.00
- Teacher Desks: $10.00
- Bookshelves: $10.00
- Display shelves: $10.00
There are a few unique items which will be included in the sale that will be individually priced, including one remaining large antique bookcase from the original Mechanicsburg/Morrison-Gordon ES building.
Prices may be dropped at 11:00 am.
